Transparent factual corrections
We document factual corrections transparently. Substantive correction notes identify the affected claim, what changed and why, with supporting evidence and the correction date. Minor typographical changes should not be presented as a new verification of an investigation.
Report a suspected error
Email contact@404tn.com with the page URL, the specific passage or evidence ID, and supporting documentation. Please distinguish a suspected factual error from disagreement with an attributed claim or editorial analysis.
Dates and evidence standards
Source publication dates and event/reference dates serve different purposes. They are not promises that a page was recently reverified. See the existing methodology for FACT, CLAIM, ANALYSIS and source provenance, and the editorial statement for the project’s position.
